"In This Life"
In this Life, we enter many races to win. These races being the many individual goals we set for ourselves to accomplish.
Some never stop to realize before entering that others, just as ourselves, have gone on before and have accomplished these very same things, even more.

We strive to be the best at what we do. We struggle with impatience to make it to the finish. We worry, fret and seem to almost always forget most every rule. When along the way we encounter most every obstacle we're sure would never cross our path. But they do.
In these moments of stress and diversion we sometimes break the rules.
And with God as our judge, the Great Lawmaker Himself, we must never forget He is watching and to Him it's not important if we win or lose but how we play the game, so to speak.
And when all is said and done and our Life here on earth is through, God's the one that holds your prize. So in this Life it may look to others as if we've won, that we've finished the race, only to find that we had been disqualified for the thoughtless deeds we'd done.
To those of you to whom it looks as if you'd never win, you might just think again. Love is the key and God is Love. Your unselfish deeds He did see.
Lord help me to win, not only to win, but to have fun in trying and to find joy in helping others along the way.
And when this race is done I'll find peace and rest in accomplishing goals for you and for doing my very best.
I love you Lord Jesus and I thank you quite simply for my Life, for my family and friends and for all you've done for me. I Love you Father.
Your Loving Daughter and Friend,
Janet Reiter
